A cacophony of noise, flashing lights, people everywhere and sweating like hell. Could not think of anything worse and then kids putting petrol in their mouths and lighting it. The petrol in the mouth alone likely to burn the skin and form blisters. Total madness and so pleased you found somewhere with backpackers to finally enjoy the night out. Had to be done and a must see vid so thanks for sharing. At least people that see this will be aware of what they are in for which unfortunately you guys weren't prepared for. Looking forward to your ongoing adventures 🙂

It is really sad and pathetic to see kids working (voluntarily or involuntarily?) like the fire-breathing kids in VN. One solution to this problem: Please do not give them any money as a reward! I hope you two will find the rest of your trip in VN wonderful and full of pleasant surprises as you found in Thailand.

Bui vien is for partying and clubbing scene. If you’re not into that scene, it’s better to hang around Nguyen Hue at night, which is the downtown of Saigon

This is nothing. You should have seen it in 2019 before covid hit and it was jam-packed with foreign tourists. It was a non-stop shitshow (in a great way)! Yes, be VERY CAREFUL WITH YOUR BELONGINGS! People will snatch your wallet or phones from your hands/pockets, and will do it while riding a scooter or motorcycle
