This video took us a while to upload but here it is! In May we visited the Tulip Festival in Karumai Tulip Park, went strawberry picking in Nanbu, and visited Hokoji Temple – all three places are only an hour away from Misawa! We also visited Cape Oma, the northernmost point of mainland Japan where you can see Hokkaido on a clear day! The Hotokeguara Rock Formations are also in the Shimokita Peninsula of Aomori where you can see monkeys and jellyfish!

Thanks for the vlog. This gives me ideas of what and where to visit. My son is stationed in Misawa and we hope to visit him as soon as Japan opens up.
