Mattel is the world’s largest Toy Company, but for a company so well known and one that creates such iconic brands, apart from a few small-scale offerings they’ve never really had their fingers in the theme park pie. But early next year all that is set to change when the Mattel Adventure Park opens up in Arizona.

The Barbie closet thing is going to be a mess from the get go. The lines and crowds will make that attraction unbearable
It will never happen. We've been hearing about a "theme park" coming to Arizona for over 25 years. Multiple themes have been introduced to Arizona including a rock and roll theme park and six flags. They announce these new plans in the news and get people buzzing and then nothing….
I'm gonna chuckle if the Uno themed climbing structure turns to be themed to Uno Stacko…that was a fun combination of Uno and Jenga.
I mean it will be a hit until the extreme heat stops the main traffic and they will not be open long enough to make profit
Building in a area with no water, what could go wrong
Arizona? Not a good place for a outdoor theme park
I can totally see Bright Sun Films here in 10-20 years 😆
As a life long Barbie fan and collector, I’d fly over from Atlanta just to see this! The hot wheels section looks really cool too. With Super Nintendo World coming to both Universal parks, I’m so excited for all these nostalgic experiences
I think Barbie and hot wheels theme park missed the peak opportunity in the 90’s and early 2000’s this isn’t going to last
C'mon, you use Castle Greyskull (let alone He-Man) for a laser tag arena? That would be perfect dark ride material.
I live in Glendale, Az…. This is the first I’m hearing about this. It’s 110 here right now. I will say things go good for a few years here but interest fades VERY fast. I hope 90%of this is indoors or it will die in the heat.
I hope I'm just color blind and the Hot Wheels coaster is actually orange. Because if it's not, like in these pictures, that's missing a pretty iconic trait
Alright! Another GTX!
Only 9 holes on the minigolf course? Should be at least 18, preferably 2 or 3 18 hole courses.
Perhaps If Cedar Fair or Six Flags buys it it’ll be saved?
Can you say "Legend City" lol
I really hope this pans out and is successful and even receives expansions! I live in Phoenix and collect Barbie and Monster High so I'm really excited, though I can say that's mostly for the opportunity to be near an official Mattel store to potentially get limited edition dolls in person lol, though if it and the MH reboot are successful an expansion featuring the property would be amazing.
Wow 2023 is really the year of Barbie!!!!
so the track goes over the parking lot? i don’t see any problems there! 😂😂 sneak a cheeseburger (or worse) on the ride and +5 points for hitting someone’s car while above on the track….
I can't wait to see this on Brightfilms "abandoned" or "bankrupt" series in a few years 😍😍.
Mattel has already set a deal with brazilian theme park Beto Carrero World for a Hot Wheels land and now they're opening a NERF land as well… They are probally testing it here before bringing it up there to the US. The Hot Wheels land is going pretty well, and NERF land is about to open this season.
Where will they get the water to support this?
I live very close to the future sight and will probably go often if I 1) get some sort of in-state discount and 2) have a good experience the first time.
If the launch mechanism of the hotwheels coaster isnt the wheels that shoot the cars across the tracks, I dont want it
I love Barbie so I would like to visit this theme park but it doesn't seem likely that I'd ever go 🤔 I live far in Fl & I would rather go to CA where there is so much more to do & see instead👍
It's cool AZ is getting something other than Castles N Coasters but a six flags or a universal would have been cooler.
Are they going to duplicate the RC racer ride lol
Maybe add a Jurassic World or WWE things .But they have to get rights from Universal and The Mchmahons.
I'm going!!!
I'm surprised they're doing nothing with Monster High. Definitely a missed opportunity.
