Wakayama04
Shirahama is a well developed hot spring(onsen) resort 100 kilometers south of Osaka. Caused of its proximity to Osaka, caused Shirahama to become one of Japan’s three biggest onsen resorts, along with Atami on the Izu Peninsula and Beppu on Kyushu.
Many large hotels are located around the beach so that visitors will be just a few steps from the water. Fireworks are held during summer.
Shirahama Energy Land It is an amusement park and offers interactive op art and a few computer generated movie rides. Somewhat unfashionable but enjoyable nonetheless, particularly for kids.
