    Hello! I just come back from a trip through Indonesia and I agree with most of your picks. However, the clip you presented about Bali (the cliffs are actually from Nusa Penida) isn’t really representative of reality and I would say that the crowd do affect your Balinese experience. Also, the beaches there have big waves and are for surfer, not swimmer. Also, most of Gili island’s coral is dead because the local population used to fish with dynamite. For those reasons, I would not recommend the south of Bali nor the Gili Islands. My pick for a beachy vacation would definitely by Nusa Penida, Komodo National Park and Lombok. 🙂

    Fyi, the Komodo island will be closed next year due to the intensive conservation of this dragon, but you can still explore the islands near it, for example Rinca Island for it's famous pinky beach

    Minute 4:23 to 4:32 that's surely not Jakarta ……..there are no yellow-green taxis in Jakarta …..and those old buses are impossible to operate in Jakarta (regulation says : only buses younger than 10 years may operate) ……and I don't know that street (I live in Jakarta since 1979)…….

    Even for us Indonesians ,visiting other provinces is always interesting …..because the culture is different ,culinary is unique ,and the nature can be specific …..as an example ,Toraja (South Sulawesi /Celebes) still preserve the culture of 'keeping the dead' (see 'Toraja' on Wikipedia) although most citizen are Christians …….beside the Orang Utan in Kalimantan /Borneo ,in West Papua you will see more than 600 bird species ,found nowhere else on Earth (a certain species ,the male have to dance before mating )………

    i was born in Indonesia,Jakarta and it is a beautiful place there is alot of place you can travel too it is amazing you should visit Indonesia,Jakarta

    I love Islands. Molly is supposed to be nice but it's touristy. LOM Bok is less touristy. I don't know about the other Islands. Java sounds nice but it's too crowded.
