    If you are illegal in the UK. You should only make an application after 20 years. Don't even try after 19 years and 11 months. You will be refused and deported. After 20 years you will only get 2.5 year visa 4 times. 2.5 x 4 = 10 years. So you will get ILR after 30 years in total.

    No one will get amnesty after 5 or 10 years or 14. Debate is over. Simple. Debate means debate and not a law. Don't make people fool. There were 6 million signature for stopping brexit but it didn't stop.

    This doesn't make sense that long term residency is 10 years and Illegal is 14.
    So someone has paid taxes for 10 years and home office fees for 10 years and other has not paid a penny in taxes and will get visa after 14 years. I think they should make it 30 years now.
