Hey everyone!
Have you ever tried durian before? Do you like it, or hate it, or LOVE it? Let us know below!
Thanks for watching! ☺️🧡
Welcome to Penang 😋😋Penang best food 😍😍
I love durian
Halo🔔👍
The noodle in curry mee is yellow mee not eggs noodle. Wonton mee is using egg noodle. Hope this help
Steph was so funny doing the chicken dance in front of the rooster on the all.haha
Well done. You tried the stinkiest of fruits
That is because north americans get the durians in asian supermarket and it is not fresh with cracks appearing at the bottom. Your brother should get musang king from miami fruits. Not from asian supermarkets which are thai durians. Malaysian durians are mostly found in singapore and china. No where else. Miami fruits import them (musang king) into north america. The premium stuff.
I miss the kuey teow tng at balik pulau market in the evening. Best I had ever tasted.
Pronounced kway tiaw terng
Satay need to eat from a malay stall. They do it better and dip in peanut sauce
Great video sir
You know meaning of roti jala in english its call net (jala)roti (bread)
Thanks for liking Malaysia and i hope you all have a good memories in Malaysia ! 😘😘😘 bye…lah 🙋
Welcome to Malaysia guys! Just wanted to say that the "curry" you had with the roti jala didn't really look like curry. It looked like ayam masak merah, which means red cooked chicken. That's why it was spicier than you expected.
The lady was speaking Thai at the background when you ate your apam
Great video! how bout wearing your face mask while going around? seems like everyone in your video is wearing them except you .. cheers 👍
Sonice
👍😋😄 Nice !
U are one scary looking dude
Warmest welcome to Penang Georgetown ya.I love to see and watch all the videos 🤍. Eager to meet you both of you.
The Chinese hawker selling you the curry noodle was asking you whether the dish looks nice or not (Leng mou?) but you didn't seem to catch what she said. It not only taste delicious but looks nice as well.
Durian is a Super Food.
Supports Heart Health – Durian contains monounsaturated fats and these can reduce bad cholesterol and alleviate risks of heart disease and stroke. The fruit also contains potassium, which helps regulate blood pressure.
Improves Relaxation – One of the chemicals in durian is tryptophan, which the body uses to produce serotonin, the neurotransmitter is known as the “happy” chemical since it improves mood and produces relaxation. The body also uses tryptophan to produce melatonin, a hormone that contributes to a better night’s sleep.
Boosts Immunity – Durian contains high levels of vitamin C, an antioxidant that plays an important role in strengthening the immune system and protecting the body against infections.
Other health benefits attributed to durian include: boosting digestion, fighting cancer, relieving anemia, helping to maintain healthy bones, and increasing fertility.
I love roti jala ( means net bread)..have made it myself too. I once found an Indian muslim stall at Padang Brown al fresco food court calling it 'roti sorai'. But generally it is called roti jala. Made from plain wheat flour, coconut milk n turmeric powder ( giving it yellow colour). A Malay stall i ate at long ago had pandan juice to batter, making it greenish.
You two make a lovely great couple!
Curry mee in Penang is called in Kuala Lumpur (federal capital) 'Laksa'. Laksa in Penang n Northern parts is ASSAM LAKSA (TAMARIND LAKSA) N SOLD AT MALAY STALLS AS 'LAKSA ASSAM' ALL OVER WEST MALAYSIA. I recommend strongly you try ASSAM LAKSA, voted as 'most delicious street food in the World'.
Amazing video guys!!! You made our mouths water with that super creamy delicious durian. Can’t wait to eat it again. We also loved roti jala with that beautiful chicken curry. It looked pretty spicy 🌶 We are loving your Malaysian street food series and we can’t wait for another adventure next week. Thanks a lot for your hard work ❤️
Sounds like Brussels Sprouts. Search "Why some hate Brussels Sprouts".
Best food in Asia.
Nice
Those mini pancakes look delicious! Pandan, sweet corn, coconut and banana – can’t beat those fillings. 🤤
Malaysian has the best food in the world 😁👍
Surprisingly you guys didn't vomit like most Caucasian eat durian. 😂🤣😅 So did you feel the onion custard taste? You guys should try 胡椒豬肚湯,it's nice, although it's organ dish and a little bit chewy, but it's definitely not disgusting and weird texture like liver….
Kajang satay or skewers in Kajang is the best, durian Musang king is one of the best in the world. Malaysia is a truly Asian and food paradise!!
Gotta try nasi kandar and do it local way kuah campur (mix gravy) and banjir (make it flood).
Brave Dudes and Dudess Steph bouquets for trying Durians. If you like it, I will buy you more in Petaling Jaya. Promise.
Dude where are your roots? What dialect are you? Please let me know
Yabadabadooooooo
Definitely Durian Penang is the best. Amazing video there and now am carving for durian..lol. Btw u guys should try Pak Tam Mee Udang ( noodles with sweet and spicy soup or fried noodles served with fresh prawn, squid or crab) near to the cleanest beach in Penang which is at Pantai Bayu, Teluk Kumbar. The seller which is Pak Tam is the fisherman there and definitely the food there is amazing, fresh and so cheap!!! Untouched paradise of Penang! Bonus part it's near to the Penang international airport.
You guys makes so hungry that we want to drive up to Penang.
Where’s your next port of call? Hong Kong?
I’m amazed by your right choice of foods and that made the great different. Both of you expressed exactly what these foods flavour are and that is another unexpected surprise. Some stalls may be very popular but not necessarily great due to social media influence.
Welcome to Malaysia.
Thailand actually is the largest durian producer of the world but malaysia produces the best quality durian of the world.
Street food is the best!! Nice to see more Malaysian goodies on this tour, everything looks delicious. Hope you two are having a great summer 🤍
casting net roti
The durian look sub standard. Just by the look of it. I might be wrong. But there are much tasty ones
next round try MUSANG KING IS THE BEST KING OF KING DURIAN
I LOVE THIS DELICIUOS
