Kurashige (Yamasuke Tools) – Best Place to Buy Japanese Carpentry Tools – International Shipping
If you are in the market for Japanese Carpentry Tools and you want to have them shipped internationally, then visit the Kurashige (Yamasuke Japaneses Tools) shop online. This shop gives you access to a pretty rare selection of Japanese tools that are in many case no longer available or are in short supply.
I have been going to Kurashige for a little less than a year now and I have found that their selection is extensive, the staff is friendly and supportive, and the owner and CEO, Mr. Kurashige is a wealth of knowledge. He has offered me help in so many different things I have been try to do, such as replacing a used Nomi (Japanese chisel) handle or finding a large Ryoba Pull Saw (Japanese Double Edged Pull Saw).

I have been daydreaming about going to Japan to find just this kind of place – Paradise ! and this morning You Tube
finally suggests a worth while video to watch , my mind is blown away by the all the beautiful tools ! Thank you so much
for making this video ( I wish it was longer ) and I will now have to watch all your videos on your channel to see what
I can learn from you . We have very few places like that store here in Canada but only of Western style tools and only 1 or 2
tools in them that are imported from Japan . Best regards from Canada
I admire the craftsman of the tools, but the prices OMG.
Mister chickadee
Interesting details, impressive!
Excelente vídeo, ferramentas manuais japonesas são ótimas, obrigado, um grande abraço de Manaus Amazonas Brasil bravíssimo saudações Gonzaga.
Thanks for posting this visit to Kurashige, I would get lost there for hours. I have bought two kannas from them recently and in 2019 my first kanna from Hamono-san which you shared earlier. Can't wait to visit them once the covid restrictions lift.
Very cool – I'm definitely going to do some online shopping here. Many thanks!
What a neat place. I’m fortunate to have a complete set Japanese tools. I’ve bought over the years from Hap. When he had his store.
The prices now only for the serious or the collector.
I would go crazy in a place like that.Being a Woodcraft employee, my wallet would get a workout.
What a fantastic shop. Thank you for sharing.
Wow.
Cruisin': This is Mr. Kurashige
Mr. Kurashige: Nani?
So that’s what heaven looks like.
I can't watch. These tools are a work of art. And I am sure using them would be an absolute pleasure. However, the prices are just way too high for the ave guy to afford. So I will respectfully stop the video 3 min in to save myself from Japanese tool envy. lol
NOW THATS A COOL PLACE!!!
What a magical store!!

Neat shop, such a great selection of amazing tools.
Kurashige Tools is amazing. I've bought many tools from them over the years and never had any problems with shipping to the USA. They have a quick turnaround on orders and Yamasuke Kurashige speaks great English so never had any problems with communication.
Does make me cringe a bit seeing you handle some of the tools without gloves… oil and sweat from your skin speed up rust, and some of these tools (especially that tsuki nomi) are worth hundreds of dollars, thousands in the case of that Ichihiro set.
Great vid. But what I want to know is what brand sunglasses you have on at beginning.
Amazing tool shop. Stunningly beautiful.Thank you so much.
I've seen a bamboo kiradashi knife like that chisel is beautiful.
Incrivel, ferramentas de muita qualidade.
Very jealous!!!
They'd probably have to drag me out of the place as I'd be trying to move in, drooling over all those gorgeous tools.
Your channel is great – it’s a unique idea for videos and I don’t really see anyone else doing it like you are. Good for you.
Just bought a smooth plane from Kurashige Tools which arrived today. I'm very happy with it. Thank you for this video clip to let me know this amazing tools shop.
Where is the shop? Would like to visit next time I'm in Japan. Thx
At the beginning of the video when you were driving, you look like Snake.
What a brilliant vlog .
There are so many different tools and just for chisels the prices range!!!!!!! We need a catalog and a mentor just to understand why and how to understand quality and cost for each item. it overwhelms be to try to understand!
my friend what is the name of the big chisels the longest
LMFAO they gave me a shout out 😂😂😂😂
They have some great whetstones man. I've grabbed over a dozen from them and never been disappointed.
