Shuri Castle was built in the 14th century. It was reconstructed in 1992 but some structures were destroyed in a fire in 2019.

OKINAWA peace memorial park is a monumental open space honouring those who fought in the WWII battle of Okinawa.

The Memorial Path includes 32 memorial monuments

The Okinawa Urban Monorail opened on August 10, 2003.

Also known as Yui Rail, it connects the cities of Naha and Urasoe.
