Hata Dam is a gravity dam located in Fukuoka Prefecture in Japan. The dam is used for water supply. The catchment area of the dam is 10.7 km2. The dam impounds about 51 ha of land when full and can store 7349 thousand cubic meters of water. The construction of the dam was started on 1939 and completed in 1955.
I have visited this place in summer 2022 and was very relaxing and refreshing place for me to do little walk around the dam (5km) which burns your fat. After burning your fat it is also good for bbq and add new fat on your body😃. So this place is good for BBQ also. When you make round to the dam which is about 5 km you can see camping sites , River fish 🎣 cooking restaurant ( which is only one in all Kyushu) , bike touring places and etc. As a whole this place is beautiful to chill and hangout with best friends.
