This time, I visited Solaniwa Onsen, a few minutes’ walk from Osaka Benten-cho Station.
The water at Solaniwa Onsen is natural hot spring water that wells up from 1,000 meters underground, and the bath overlooking the large open-air bath and the vast sky garden was so nice!
It is also equipped with a private open-air bath for 2 to 6 people, which is great for families traveling from overseas.
By the way, as for how to get to Kuuragei Onsen, it is directly connected to JR Benten-cho Station, so we never got lost at all.
The entire building was designed based on the concept of the Azuchi-Momoyama period, with natural hot spring outdoor baths, footbaths, bedrock baths, fish therapy, Japanese cuisine and Japanese sweets, yukata for all, and a large Japanese garden, making it a very special place to enjoy.
I arrived at noon on a weekday and was very comfortable with few guests. There are many places where you can take pictures wearing yukata, such as the illuminated area and the torii (gateway to the shrine), making it a memorable experience. It is now in its third year, but the inside is still beautiful, clean, and very nice.
