True indeed, the moment you touch down here, locals are quick to help & guide tourists even in broken English. Tourism infrastructures are so efficient that they will sincerely apologize for say a 25 secs. early train departure, huh?

It’s even incredibly easy to tour around. You’d think a Tokyo-Kyoto-Nara-Osaka is a tough grind for just a weeklong-vacation? Not when you have a Shinkansen. You’ll have enough time to see the Shibazakura Festival in Mt. Fuji, feed the sacred deer in Nara, hunt for a geisha & fully enjoy Fuji-Q & USJ.

Spend the night at a ryokan in the old Japan (Kyoto) with tatami mats & futon beds wearing a yukata & look ‘iki’ (chic) with a tea. Then you have a hi-tech Toto toilet in there. This is the Land of the Rising Sun, the archetype fusion of modernity & ancient traditions. Splendiferous to say the least!
