The Hill of the Buddha is a shrine at Makomanai Takino Cemetery in Sapporo, Hokkaido, which was designed by the well-known Japanese architect Tadao Ando. The shrine features a 13.5 meter tall statue of the Buddha, and outside visitors can appreciate approximately 150,000 lavender plants. 💜
