This weekend we celebrated another year for my Sweetheart. Naturally we spent it in one of our favorite getaway spots, Cupertino, California.
We stayed at our old reliable Cupertino Hotel, which oddly enough was a bit off of expectations this trip, though the breakfast was more than on point. Hopefully they’ll be back up to standards overall next trip.
We enjoyed food from Osaka Marketplace, Local Kitchens (The Chairman and The Melt), and of course here in Elk Grove, Bad Bakers.
We did NOT enjoy the food from one place we sadly decided to visit, Grub Burger Bar. Food was dry overall, with decent flavor. Onion rings were serviceable as were the sauces. My chicken sandwich was essentially inedible. Watch the video to see what went wrong. We continue to recommend Super Duper Burger if you’re looking for a great burger in the area.
