Day 19 on the Tokai Nature Trail thru-hike (Tokai Shizen Hodo) 東海自然歩道.
The Trail joins the celebrated Yamanobe-no-michi, reputedly Japan’s oldest road. Another section of the trail that is well worth a walk on its own.
