Hi everyone! I went to Jigokudani Onsen in Nagano prefecture today.It is the only hot spring in the world where you can see monkeys taking a bath. Since I went there in winter, it was very beautiful with snow piled up. The admission fee was 800 yen, which was very cheap. Monkeys basically only take a hot spring bath in winter, so if you want to go, I recommend December to February.

Snow Monkey Park is located in the Yokoyu River valley, which originates from the Shiga Kogen in Joshinetsu Kogen National Park, in the northern part of Nagano Prefecture.
At an altitude of 850 meters, almost one-third of the year is covered with snow.
The steep cliffs, the steam of hot springs rising from everywhere, and the ancient people who saw such a scene called this place Jigokudani.
However, this is a paradise for monkeys. Since ancient times, a herd of Japanese monkeys has lived in this area in its natural state.
Since its opening in 1964, Snow Monkey Park has been a place where you can observe the interesting ecology of Japanese monkeys up close, as a monkey entering a hot spring.
Widely loved by people all over the world. Many researchers and photographers have also visited and have achieved numerous results.
