Hey Stars!
How was your week? Let me know in the comments!

Welcome back to another travel vlog! Join me as we travel to Thailand for a 2 week, 4 city trip. I left from Phoenix to San Diego then to Narita and finally Bangkok! In Narita, Japan I met up with Dagmawit for our last flight heading into Bangkok. The food on this flight was Japanese food which was a 6/10. The overall experience with Japan airways is a 3/10, the website interface was not user friendly, Dagmawit ticket has an invlaid airport transfer and when we tried to contact the help desk it was very difficult. Also coming back to the US we had poor customer service in flight. ANYWAY!

We reached Bangkok at midnight and headed to our hotel which is called the Berkeley hotel (link at the bottom), the room was small then pictured, the hotel itself was beautiful. We ate quick tv dinner meals from 7/11 which were better than expected! We made a friend and tried to dance the night away but the clubs were shut down so we hung out in the hotel room.

Day 1: Khlong Bang Luang Floating Market with the Ta Luang temple + Wat Arun Temple

We booked the tour via the front desk of our hotel. They assisted us with a driver who took us to and from. These tours can be booked from accommodations such as airbnb, hotel, hostel etc. Also you can find tours such as these on Airbnb experiences! This tour was a 7 hour tour, which was amazing because we got to see so much.

Day 3: Chiang Mai + Cookventure Cooking Class
We flew into Chiang Mai around 10 am and got to the Cook Venture cooking class by 1:30 pm. Our instructure Apple was so kind, personable, and very knowledgeable. We booked her class on Airbnb and it was 5 hours! In total we made 10 dishes and enjoyed every dish. One thing about me and Dagmawit is we’re gonna try something new every time!! I highly recommend taking her class. At the very end she gave us a printed book with all the recipes to take home, which was a plus in my eyes. Another plus is the class can be no more than 8 people! We got lucky and it was just us two :), She took us to the market and explained what ingredients we would be using, and helped us buy the fruits that we tasted! When we were cooking we were able to play our own music and have our own vibe which Apple helped curate! Check her cooking class out!! 10/10.

P.S
It’s safe to say we went to Thailand at the right time because there weren’t too many tourists and we were able to get some personalized tours along the way! Stay tuned for part 2, which comes out next Sunday.
