Kawagoe is situated in Saitama and is known as “Little Edo”. The streets are lined with beautiful old merchant stores and in summer, you will see many people walking around wearing yukatas. It is great for a day trip from Tokyo, taking slightly under one hour to get there from Shinjuku.
