今回は、「定山渓ダム」とそのダムによってせき止められてできた「さっぽろ湖」の2か所を紹介！
さっぽろ湖は、平成元年（1989年）に定山渓ダムにより小樽内川（おたるないがわ）をせき止められてできた湖です。
ダムの上流には札幌国際スキー場、朝里川温泉を経て小樽市内へ抜ける景色が最高のドライブコース。
また、季節によって姿を変化させ秋の紅葉では、木々のコントラストに心奪われるほどの素敵な景色が広がります。
ダムの直下には「定山渓ダム下流園地」が整備され、巨大なダムを真下から眺めることができるほか、
園内には「定山渓ダム資料館」もあり、資料館開館時間中は堤体内の見学も可能です。

The best drive course is the scenery that goes to Otaru city via Sapporo Kokusai Ski Resort and Asarigawa Onsen upstream of the dam.
In addition, the autumn leaves, which change their appearance depending on the season, offer a wonderful view that is fascinating to the contrast of the trees.
“Jozankei Dam Downstream Garden” is maintained directly under the dam, and you can see the huge dam from directly below.
There is also the Jozankei Dam Museum in the park, and you can tour the inside of the embankment during the opening hours of the museum.
