What can we say about The Mitsui Kyoto, it is a hotel in its own category. Every inch of the place is designed to perfection. From the moment you enter the Mitsui compound, you are reminded that you are actually in fact in Kyoto.
The hotel belongs to Marriott group, more specifically to The Luxury Collection brand and has recently been upgraded to the highest Marriott Category 8. Located right in front of the historic and famous Nijo Castle (Old residence of the emperor), the hotel embraces you like its own.
BS TV got to experience the staycation in one of the only two Nijo suite rooms, checked out $33 per minute private bath and enjoyed a hearty breakfast to remember.
