野口観光グループのホテルのひとつ, “ザ・レイクビュー #乃の風リゾート”。夜には洞爺湖の上の花火を見ることもできました。

SHOWA SHINZAN. When I visited, there were not only four-leaf clovers, but many five-leaf, six-leaf… clovers. When you visit, please look for clovers not only on the mountain but also underfoot.
One of the hotels of the Noguchi Kanko Group, “The Lake View #Nonokaze Resort”. At night we could see the fireworks over Lake Toya.

北湯沢温泉郷の長流川［おさるがわ］に沿って連なる林間の散策路沿いにある, 温水のせせらぎを裸足で歩行浴できる足湯。足湯からみる白絹の床は, 白糸が舞っているような水の流れが美しい絶好の景勝ポイントです。新緑から紅葉そして雪景色と長流川の渓谷が見せる四季折々の美しさをご堪能ください。

【昭和新山】
1943年の噴火活動で麦畑が隆起してできた昭和新山。現在でも噴煙をたなびかせ, 大地のエネルギーを間近で体感することができます。また麓の駐車場周辺には, 有珠山ロープウェイ・昭和新山熊牧場・三松正夫記念館といった見学施設・レストラン・土産店なども立ち並び壮瞥町の代表的な観光地となっています。
1943年, 青い麦畑から地震と爆発音とともに膨れ上がった昭和新山。4ヶ月の爆発, その間刻々と隆起する大地, 地球のエネルギーは地底で固まった粘性の強いデイサイト溶岩を押し上げ, 398mのベロニーテ型［隆起型］火山を出現させたのです。昭和新山の誕生を見守り続けたのが郵便局長の三松正夫さんでした。地震発生から噴火とその活動が止まるまでを独学の観測方法でつぶさに観察, 詳細な記録を残した後にミマツダイヤグラムと命名, 称賛されました。

【洞爺湖】
北海道南西部に位置し, “洞爺カルデラ” 内にできた湖。面積は日本で9番目, カルデラ湖としては屈斜路湖・支笏湖に次いで日本で3番目の大きさです。東西約11km, 南北約9kmのほぼ円形の湖で, 有珠山・昭和新山・洞爺湖温泉などがあり北海道有数の観光地域となっています。湖畔は一周することができます。
中央に浮かぶ “中島”［面積 4.85km²］の最高点トーノシケヌプリ［標高 455m］を中心として東北東 – 南東 – 南南西にかけてが壮瞥町, それ以外が洞爺湖町になっています。

【Mt. SHOWA SHINZAN】
Showa Shinzan was formed by the uplift of wheat fields during an eruption in 1943. Even today, the volcanic plume still lingers in the air and the energy of the earth can be experienced up close. Around the parking lot at the foot of the mountain, there are many tourist facilities, restaurants and souvenir shops such as the Mt Usu Ropeway, the Showa Shinzan Bear Farm and the Mimatsu Masao Memorial Museum, making it a representative tourist attraction in Sobetsu Town.
【LAKE TOYA】
Located in south-west Hokkaido, the lake was formed in the “Toya Caldera”. It is the ninth largest lake in Japan in terms of area and the third largest caldera lake in Japan after Lake Kussharo and Lake Shikotsu. The lake is approximately 11km east to west and 9km north to south, and is one of Hokkaido’s most popular tourist destinations, with Mount Usu, Mt Showa Shinzan and Lake Toya Hot Spring among its attractions. The lakeside can be circled.
Centred on Tonoshikenupuri, the highest point of “Nakajima” floating in the centre, the area from east-northeast – south-east – south-southwest is the town of Sobetsu, and the rest of the lake is the town of Toyako.
