Mini travel guide for your visit to Barcelona with kids! There is so much to see and do in Barcelona, these were our top 3 favorite spots in Barcelona:
1. Las Ramblas
2. Montjuïc Castle
3. Beaches
These are our top 3 sites because they are great for both kids and parents.
Las Ramblas is a road through Barcelona dotted with must see points, restaurants, entertainers, and a must see 360 view from the top of the Columbus monument.
A visit to the Montjuïc Castle is a very fun journey! From the base of the mountain you take a funicular railway up to the cable car where you can enjoy more gorgeous views of Barcelona as you “fly” up the mountain. Once you reach the top wander the castle grounds and enjoy a nice lunch at the cafe.
The beaches are the star of the city! We visited 3 different beaches during our week long stay and wished we had more time. Sand was soft, water was warm and clear, what more could you ask for? On a calm day take a swim or snorkel to see some fish. Although the beaches can be quite crowded, there is always room to lay down one more towel and enjoy some fun in the sun.
