I travelled to Ishigaki island (the main island of Yaeyama islands) in Okinawa, Japan. Ishigaki island offers beautiful beaches and snorkeling/diving spots, as well as ferry access to other Yaeyama islands.
I took a day trip to Taketomi island, which is a small island with only about the population of 300 and 15 mins from Ishigaki island by ferry.
It was fun to rent a bike and cycle around the island in Okinawa.
