🎊 Most of the year Niihama is a quiet seaside town in Ehime Prefecture, Shikoku Island – but every autumn the town comes alive with the energetic and adrenaline-fuelled Niihama Taiko Festival which runs until Thursday. 🎊 The festival dates back over 1,000 years and sees a parade of floats shaped like giant drums process through the city.
