This street food menu is raw seafood (crabs, salmon, shrimp) in spicy fish sauce with hundreds of Thai chili. The menu is getting very popular. We believe that the chili, garlic and salt in fish sauce will kill all the bad germ in this raw seafood. So we eat this menu RAW, as it is shown in the clip. We normally called it the pickled seafood (even though it is not really pickled). They sell a variety of seafood!! pickled salmon, pickled crab, pickled shrimp and pickled duck egg. The cost is so cheap, as cheap as $1 per dish. The marinade used this this street food stall is made from seasoned fish sauce. For the process of marination, they pickled the seafood of choice with garlic, chilli, and marinade sauce in just 30 minutes. The marinade is very rich and strong, it get into the seafood very quickly. Served with hot rice wrapped in seaweed and topped with Thai spicy sour seafood sauce. They are all get along very well.
