Parisian chef Amandine Chaignot has visited Hokkaido a couple of times during past 5 years. She was deeply impressed by Hokkaido’s beautiful nature and cuisine cooked with local chefs together.
This time, she challenged herself to create a dish in Paris using “Yamasachi” a wine from Ikeda Town, which was located in Hokkaido. She made a rabbit dish called “Hare à la Royale”. “Hare à la Royale” is legend dish intimately linked to the life of Louis XIV. The program shows the Wine Castle in Ikeda-Town where “Yamasachi” is produced, as well as a recipe for authentic French cuisine.
