[4k] Sakura / Cherry Blossom at Katsumori Park | Walking Tour | Iizuka | Fukuoka | Japan | 2022 |

Katsumori park is a park located in Iizuka City, Fukuoka Prefecture. It is a beautiful park in downtown Iizuka. Since it is not a touristic place, there is just some local people. A playground, pond & decommissioned steam train attract families to this green space opened in 1918.

From here visitors can enjoy a view of trees reflecting off the waters of a pond and waterfowl swimming on its surface. Also a renowned cherry blossom destination, some 300 Yoshino cherries, Ukon cherries, and Kawazu cherries grown on the grounds, attracting huge throngs of people come to enjoy the flowers when they bloom in spring.

Walking through the park enjoying sakura and hearing birds chirping is so peaceful. Today is a sunny day, so I thought I can make a walking video of the park. I really love this park because it looks so beautiful during spring because of the sakura (cherry blossoms). And it’s so close from my home, I can come any time to enjoy the sakura.
