For our first domestic over night trip in Japan we decided to head to Yokohama! One of our favorite destinations in Japan and only 30 minutes away on the train from Shibuya, Tokyo.
We booked a family room at the Yokohama Royal Park Hotel for two nights.
To get there we first needed to take a bus and then a train, which would be the furthest Loa has ever travelled, and with a lot of luggage too!!
After arriving we dropped off the bags and headed out for a quick lunch and then the main mission for the day, the Cup Noodles Museum Yokohama. It is a museum dedicated to instant noodles and Cup Noodles, as well as its creator and founder, Momofuku Ando. You can make your own original cup noodle and learn more about the history of cup noodles too.
It is a very popular tourist destination but we had never been before!! We booked a head, and it was the perfect place to enjoy with Loa, as it is very kid friendly and has a nursing room also.
We then returned to the hotel to enjoy a take away feast, and relax for the next day.
