Best Maracas Beach, Trinidad and Tobago, Caribbean Walk Through. Maracas Bay is located in the Northern part of Trinidad, an island in the Caribbean. The road to Maracas Beach called the “North Coast Road” was actually built by the US Military in the 1940s. There is a fishing village in Maracas which we will cover but there is the beach itself. We are leaving on the Road Trip at 7am and will travel via Saddle Road, Maraval until we get to Maracas so you get to see all the green along the way. Then I will walk the whole of Maracas Bay and take in some of Tyrico, another beach that is close to the Maracas Beach. This is ONE PART of a series in which I visit parts of the North Coast that you may have never seen like this before!

For those curious as to why some parts may be blurred: Usually if the camera focuses too much on the faces of children or some awkward moment then I blur it to protect the integrity of the people around me. These videos focus on the general surroundings and not specific people unless I am conducting an interview or approached by someone during the course of recording.

Here is a simple Maracas walk through key:
0:00:00 – Morne Coco Rd. to Saddle Rd. (Driving)
0:20:44 – Arriving at Maracas
0:22:52 – Walking around Maracas beach
0:42:05 – Viewing Maracas from above
0:51:00 – Entering Tyrico
0:54:00 – Capturing Humming bird
1:21:40 – I Love Maracas
1:24:40 – Heading towards Maracas fishing village
1:34:00 – Maracas mini caves
