Hokkaido (北海道) is a wondrous place. This northernmost island of Japan offers you vast nature and ever so gorgeous food. But, you don’t imagine yourself going there when you plan your travel to Japan. One of the main reasons is the great distance from the mainland (本州) and other major cities in Japan.
So, introduce this. Cheap air travel.
With the cost of less than half of a Tokyo-Kyoto Shinkansen (東京・京都 新幹線) travel & the 90 minutes of travel, now Hokkaido is on your itinerary!
After landing at Sapporo (札幌), we are going for lunch at a Ramen shop (ラーメン屋) which appeared in the famous Michelin Guidebook.
What this is is only a surface level to experience Hokkaido, but now you’ll see how much more there is in there.
💴 Today’s Price (Bus + Flight + Ramen): 1,300 + 4,900 + 900= 7,100 JPY 💴
🎥ーBehind the sceneー🎥
*The ramen shop is 15 minutes walk from the nearest station (Chitose station)
*They call their day when their soup runs out, so go there ASAP
*Terminal 3 is the first stop of the bus, which doesn’t even take an hour from Tokyo station
*From Shin-Chitose airport, there is a bus to Sapporo city centre
*Flight between Tokyo and Sapporo used to be the 2nd busiest route in the world in 2018
*Jetstar website charges you a payment fee, and it’s slightly annoying. But 4,950 is including the fee too. Just there is a little surprise at the end when you pay thinking you got a great deal.
