“Ikura”, salmon caviar soaked in soy-sauce and sake, is an all-time favorite in Japan. The jewels are not only tasty, but rich in DHA and EPA as well as antioxidant astaxanthin which makes the beautiful orange-red color. #Ikura makes any dish look gorgeous. And it goes so well with sake, too.
Now is the best season for ikura, salmon, sardine, sea bream, and mackerel sushi!
