I took a walk from Hamanaka station to Hamanaka town in Hokkaido.
Hamanaka is a town in eastern Hokkaido facing the Pacific Ocean with a population of about 5500.
The centre of Hamanaka is not around the station, but in the Kiritabu area by the sea, where the town hall is also located.
This is why the area in front of Hamanaka Station is very small.
Hamanaka is the birthplace of Monkey Punch, the author of the popular manga “Lupin the Third”, and Lupin the Third and Fujiko Mine were both born in Hamanaka.
21:50 I wanted to cross the suspension bridge in the park, but we couldn’t because of the brown bears that appear in the area.
