I visited the Zenkoji temple as soon as I arrived in Nagano. Since I arrived before check-in, I just left my luggage in a locker in the train station (one of the things I love in Japan).
It was my first time to see and touch snow. I was already happy when I saw snow and snow capped mountains while on the train but I was happier when I saw it up close. I was really ecstatic when it rained snow at night. I felt foolish and like a child at the same time but ai couldn‘t care less. I have always dreamed of experiencing snow.
In this video, you will see more of Yamanouchi where the snow monkeys live. It was quite a hike to get there but the sceneries were lovely all throughout the hike.
