While many of us are admiring cherry blossoms and other seasonal blooms, one part of Japan is gearing up for their very wintery-appearing tourist season! The Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route is open from April 15th until November 30th this year, and the big drawcard is the snow corridor. Walls of snow up to 18 meters high (!!!) envelop the road on either side! ❄️
