I went for a walk in the town of Bibuka from Bibuka Station.
The town has a population of about 4,000 and is located roughly halfway between Wakkanai and Asahikawa.
The town is at the northern limit of rice cultivation, and also focuses on the cultivation of sturgeon, a specialty of the town.
Canoeing and fishing can be enjoyed along the Teshio River that flows through the town.
