This week we finally got reservations for a restaurant called Mt. Fuji in upstate New York. Mt. Fuji restaurant is a hibachi steakhouse located in Hillburn, NY which is about a 40-minute drive north of New York City. It is located on a mountain that has a pretty nice view and is pretty come spring and cherry blossom season.
I don’t think you can walk in and get a table and booking reservations can be tough so definitely plan ahead.
After lunch, we also take a trip to Mitsuwa in Fort Lee, NJ. We try to visit every so often. Mitsuwa is a Japanese grocery store that sells a lot of Japanese imported goods. It’s a great place to wander if you miss Japan and want a taste. There are some great restaurants around and other shops you can explore.
