MONKEY-SEE, MONKEY DO!
Located within the larger Joshinetsu-Kogen National Park, inside of Nagano Prefecture, Jigokudani Yaen-Koen Wild Snow Monkey Park is one of many must-see attractions when you visit Japan. Apparently the snow monkeys agree—In the early 1960s, Japanese macaques moved down from the higher forests above the valley and made themselves right at home in the hot springs. These snow monkeys have been using them as a warm-up spot ever since!
