We will be living around Ikebukuro soon. So, Oka-san gave me a tour around this area. It was also Girls’ Day in Japan (Hinamatsuri). A religious celebration involving gorgeous dolls believed to ward off evil spirits so that young girls can have happy and bright future. However, it was the last day and wasn’t able to see many dolls displayed in the department store. Instead, we got to see some boys doll for Boys’ Day in May (Tango no Sekku).
I also got some cosmetics from Shiseido. Really enjoyed this day! Big thanks to my very kind Mother-in-law!
