We ticked one off Mel’s bucket list by attending this years Pikachu Outbreak in Yokohama, Minato Mirai. The event runs for an entire week. Sadly we only had time to visit for one day but take our word for it when we tell you that you could easily spend two days or more taking in all the festivals events. All of which are FREE, that’s right completely free, unless of course you venture into the
pokémon centre, then you may find your wallet a little lighter than before entering the store.
Definitely plan ahead before attending the festival as it can get very hot and crowded but if your prepared you can make the most of whats on.
We had such a great time and look forward to returning to Yokohama to see more of this beautiful city.
