This is a better, smoother, video from the livestream of Mar. 6, 2022 – watch this!
In this episode, I have not one but TWO guests to guide me in and around the grounds of UNESCO World Heritage Site Sengan-en in Kagoshima City. It’s a huge understatement to say how knowledgeable both are about Kagoshima, so I’m really looking forward to this tour!
My guests Mitch and Alex are the creators behind the “People of Kagoshima” a new YouTube channel, which introduces the real lives and stories of local everyday people here in Kagoshima, Japan. I highly recommend checking it out for a peek into the Kagoshima few tourists ever see.
Guest profiles:
Alex Bradshaw: is a travel industry professional and Head of Overseas Business for Shimadzu Ltd. He is also the Head of Overseas Communications for Kagoshima Prefecture and owner of travel consultancy GOTOKU.
Mitch Stapleton: is an entrepreneur, radio and television personality, and digital content creator. He founded STAPLETON — an innovative learning center and language school, and STORi STUDIOS — a digital content creation company.

FAQ
Who are you?
Nick Szasz, a Canadian who has lived in Japan for about 35 years. Thirty-one years in Fukuoka, three in Tokyo, and one in Osaka. I’m the founder and publisher of Fukuoka Now magazine, a monthly printed bilingual magazine about Fukuoka and Kyushu for international residents and visitors from overseas. Fukuoka Now magazine: and Fukuoka Now website – I live in Itoshima – and post about that here:
Why are you doing this?
I love Kyushu, walking, and cameras, so this seemed like a perfect combination and fun. I hope to show off and connect Kyushu to the world, even in this small way. Please sit back, relax, and let me do the walking and talking!

Kyushu Live
PATREON(ファンがクリエイターを直接支援できるサービス)でも登録しているので応援してね!
