Set to become an annual event, the Matsumoto Castle Illumination was held in Nagano Prefecture for the first time from December 2021 until February this year. From 6-9pm every night during the event, Matsumoto Castle is transformed into a colourful digital artwork, incorporating music and light to create an unforgettable show that highlights the beauty of this much-loved castle. Using laser projection mapping, the experience is comprised of an array of three-minute productions themed around the past, present and future.
