On May 4, 2021, we went to Yamate Yokohama, famous as “The Bluff”, to see the view over downtown Yokohama, historic residential properties and ornamental gardens.
We were fascinated by different varieties of roses in full bloom at Harbor View Park. Sweet scents of roses were all over the place.
We visited some old American, British, and Spanish-style residential buildings which were built for foreign settlements between the 1800s to 1900s. We also visited the Sacred Heart Cathedral but unfortunately, it was closed.
We walked around China Town and had our delightful lunch.
We came home tired from walking, but happy that we got to burn calories, boost our immune system and see beautiful sceneries and historical remains.
