🇬🇧 Santa Cruz de Tenerife is a beautiful port situated in Tenerife, the largest of the western islands in the Canary archipelago. Around its important port are wide avenues, squares and exotic landscaped areas, not forgetting some beautiful examples of modernist architecture.
Located on a promontory close to the port, the new auditorium, designed by Santiago Calatrava, rounds off the program for the revitalization of an ocean front area west of the city, taken up until recently by industrial sheds and a refinery, and which is now the site of the marine park César Manrique and the Palmetum, close to the fairgrounds.

🇪🇸 Santa Cruz de Tenerife es una bella ciudad portuaria situada en Tenerife, la mayor de las islas occidentales del archipiélago canario. En torno a su importante puerto se extienden amplias avenidas, plazas y exóticos espacios ajardinados, sin olvidar bellos ejemplos de arquitectura modernista.
Situado sobre un promontorio próximo al puerto, el nuevo auditorio, obra de Santiago Calatrava, culmina la revitalización de una franja costera situada al oeste de la ciudad, ocupada hasta épocas recientes por naves industriales y una refinería de petróleo, y en la que ahora se emplazan el parque marítimo César Manrique y el Palmetum, cerca del recinto ferial.
