We finally made it to Mount Fuji and got a chance to explore the wonders of the Chureito Pagoda. Come and take a walk with us as we take in all the stunning views of Mount Fuji, the colorful and vibrant fall foliage in the local towns, eat wonderful food, and see what else we can get into.

The Chureito Pagoda was built in 1963 and it serves as a memorial commemorating the citizens of Fujiyoshida who died in wars from the mid-1800’s until World War 2.

We also got a chance to eat at a local restaurant called Arakuraya Udon. One of the best places to eat real homemade udon noodles.

Lastly, we stumbled upon the Fuji Kawaguchiko Autumn Leaves Festival. It’s one of the most popular events in Japan and it takes place every November in the shore of Lake Kawaguchi, one of the Fuji Five Lakes.
