Greetings!! I’m Den Dee.
This time, I went to Shibamata and Taishakuten!
It is only one part, but this venerable temple town has a long history. Please feel as if you were taking a walk through Shibamata.
Since ancient times, this town has been known as the temple town of the Daikyo-ji Temple (Shibamata Taishakuten), but it has become more widely recognized as the setting for the movie “Otoko wa Tsurai yo.” Located on the west bank of the Edo River, there is a ferryboat “Yagiri no Watashi” that connects Shibamata to the Yagiri district of Matsudo City, Chiba Prefecture on the opposite side.
As the approach leading from the Keisei Electric Railway Shibamata Station to Shibamata Taishakuten extends, both sides of the approach are lined with shops and respected restaurants selling their famous kusa dango, salted rice crackers, and freshwater fish.

今回は柴又、帝釈天に行ってきました！
まだ一部ですが、由緒正しい門前町。柴又を散歩した気分になって下さい。
古くから題経寺(柴又帝釈天)の門前町として知られていたが、映画『男はつらいよ』の舞台になってことで更に広く認知されるようになった。江戸川の西岸に位置し、対岸の千葉県松戸市・矢切地区とを結ぶ渡し舟「矢切の渡し」の渡し場がある。
京成電鉄柴又駅前から柴又帝釈天に続く参道が伸びており、参道の両側には名物の草だんごや塩せんべいを売る店、老舗の川魚料理店などが軒を連ねている。
