Today, I’m travelling in the incredible FIRST CLASS cabin on the SUNRISE SETO overnight sleeper train! The Sunrise Seto and Izumo run every night from Tokyo. At Okayama, the train splits, with the Sunrise Izumo going to Shimane Prefecture, and the Sunrise Seto train going to Kagawa Prefecture. Today, I’m going to Takamatsu in Shikoku, and I’ve reserved a Single Deluxe Berth – the best accommodation onboard! My cabin is on the upper deck of this amazing double-decker train, and it’s a wonderful private room with desk, sink, refrigerator and a good-sized single bunk. The Single Deluxe Berth is quite expensive, at around US$250, but it’s certainly worth it for the amazing experience! For amazing travel in Japan, don’t miss this incredible overnight sleeper train!
