[4K] Wonderful Winter Drive in Hokkaido | Snowy Driving in Japan

Join me for a wonderful snowy drive on this cold winter morning in Hokkaido, Japan. I start my drive today near Higashikagura, a small town outside Asahikawa, the second largest city in Hokkaido. Today, it is -14ºC and the roads are covered with a thick layer of snow, but that’s no problem for the fantastic Mitsubishi Delica D5 I borrowed! Heading south east from Higashikagura, I pass by many fields that are covered with deep snow at this time of year. The area around Higashikagura is quite flat and a lot of rice is grown here during the summer months. Continuing on, I pass by the Higashikagura Forest Park and the Morinoyu Hotel before entering a lovely area of forest. This beautiful area of Hokkaido is an interesting place for a drive, especially on a sunny winter’s day! Hope you enjoyed this virtual drive in Hokkaido!
