One, two, three… 123 torii gates! ⛩
Motonosumi Inari Shrine is one of the most well-known locations in Yamaguchi Prefecture and overlooks the sparkling Sea of Japan. 123 torii gates lead down the cliff face towards the sea. While there, don’t forget to toss a coin into the offering box that hangs at the very top of the largest torii gate. It might not be easy but once you get the coin in, it’s believed your wish will come true.
