Overnight Train Across Germany Experience, Munich to Cologne Travel Video

We took a 6 hour overnight train from Munich to cologne.
Pros – We saved money on accommodation
We managed to get a few hours sleep on the train
We gained an extra day exploring by travelling in the night.
Cons – Not the comfiest sleep on a train.
We had to wait about 7 hours before being able to check into our hotel room.

Today we tried traditional German food in Munich. German street food from Viktualienmarkt before heading to a more traditional restaurant. We then continued our food tour of Munich by trying bratwurst, currywurst and a popular apricot doughnut. If there’s any more traditional German foods to try let us know in the comments!
