This evening, join me for an incredible snowy night walk around Asahikawa in Hokkaido. Sanroku-gai is the entertainment district of Asahikawa, about 7 minutes walk from the station. It is home to bars, izakayas, restaurants and karaoke bars, but tonight it is pretty quiet. One interesting feature are the two illuminated towers called the “Twin Pillars” in the middle of the street, in the shape of cocktail glasses, which are said to represent the idea of people meeting! My snowy night walk through the cold streets is so atmospheric, it reminds me of Blade Runner…this area has a real cyberpunk ambience! Asahikawa is a great place for a very unusual and interesting winter night walk! I hope you enjoy the ASMR ambient noise on this fascinating 4k walk in Japan!
